Mandala Making Workshop

Reduce stress - increase focus - add some color to your life.

In this workshop, students learn how to draw their own mandala using radial symmetry.

A mandala is an abstract design that is usually circular in form with repeating motifs radiating from the center point. "Mandala" is a Sanskrit word that means "circle." Mandalas may contain a combination recognizable shapes or images that are meaningful to the person creating it. Mandalas are thought to represent the connection between a person's inner and outer worlds. Designing your own mandalas can be both inspirational and therapeutic.

Try a new way of recovering from a stressful day. We will explore a variety of coloring tools (gel pens, markers, colored pencils, crayons) so you can discover your favorite. All materials will be provided for use during the workshop.
