English Paper Piecing
Increase focus and creativity - discover a new way to relax and have fun.
This workshop introduces students to the process of English paper piecing. Participants will learn:
- sewing basics including threading a needle, knotting your thread, learning to stitch
- cutting fabric pieces and preparing the hexagons
- sewing hexagons together using a whip stitch
Class discussion includes:
- best practices
- selecting and preparing materials for future projects
- resources for learning more.
Some familarity with sewing basics helpful, but not required. All materials will be supplied for use during the workshop.
