Stamp Carving Workshop
Reduce stress - increase focus - learn a new way to relax and have fun.
In this hands-on workshop students will learn how to carve their own stamps and then use them to print their unique designs on gift tags, cards and envelopes. We’ll go over the process step-by-step, including tools, cutting techniques, and best practices. Participants will learn:
- developing a design
- transferring their design to the stamp block
- carving the design
- testing and fine-tuning the stamp
- inking and printing
Class discussion includes:
- safety precautions
- ideas for future projects
- resources for learning more
No experience required. All materials will be supplied for use during the workshop.
