Handsewn Pillow Workshop
Increase focus and creativity - discover a new way to relax and have fun.
This workshop introduces students to the process of sewing a pillow by hand. Participants will learn:
- threading a needle
- sewing fabric using the running stitch
- stuffing the pillow
- closing the pillow opening with a whipstitch or invisible ladder stitch
Students can choose between a solid or a patchwork (pieced) pillow top.
Class discussion includes:
- best practices
- selecting and preparing materials for future projects
- resources for learning more.
No experience required. All materials will be supplied for use during the workshop.
